The National Association of Small Schools states that smaller schools offer ideal conditions for learning. They believe that small schools are essential to the future wellbeing of society.
The charity, Human Scale Education believes that smallness of scale helps to create the interpersonal relationships that enable children and young people to become confident and resourceful individuals, capable of respecting and caring for each other and for the environment.
Special Educational Needs:
SEND schools and learning communities are able to cater for children and young people who need extra support with learning, health or care, due to a learning difficulty or disability.
