GIVING YOUTH THE TOOLS TO BUILD A BETTER FUTURE
This conference is for teachers, school administrators, parents, youth organizers, and youth. We aim to empower the next generation, giving youth the tools to build a better future. Sociocracy is one tool to create a more egalitarian, inclusive, and collaborative world.
The conference will include presentations from practitioners working with ages 5-25. There will be sessions on the following:
- Reports from the EU and the UK about the state of sociocracy in schools
- How sociocracy and free democratic learning pedagogy can work together.
- Sociocracy and nonviolent communication/ conflict resolution
- Sociocracy and holacracy in schools
- Sociocracy with parents: challenges and successes
- Case studies of schools implementing sociocracy
