Event Title:

Festival of Learning

Event Type:

Festival - Workshops, Talks, Discussions

Description:

Looking to expand your horizons and learn something new? Join us to discover new ways of learning, explore a variety of interests and talks.

The Festival of Learning is a great opportunity to learn something new, have meaningful conversations and think about learning in a different way.

Learning doesn’t need to stop when you leave school and doesn’t need to be limited to the classroom. Join us and discover the different ways we can learn and try your hand at a new hobby or join one of our inspirational debates.

We hope you’ll leave the festival feeling inspired and motivated to continue learning – no matter what your age may be. With so many interesting talks and hands-on workshops, there’s something for everyone at this event.

You don't need to attend the whole event - just drop in to whichever sessions take your fancy.

Here’s a little taster of some of the great organisations and people signed up to run sessions –

• Talks from Naomi Fisher, clinical psychologist, Eliza Fricker from Missing the Mark, James Mannion from Rethinking Education and Darren Abrahams from The Human Hive

• A creative writing workshop with The Creative Writing Programme

• A beginners yoga class with Holly Cooper

• A foraging workshop with Urban Forage

• A creative climate workshop from Magnetic Ideals

• A self defence workshop from Cross Krav Maga Academy

• A fermentation workshop

• A tai chi workshop

• Plus lots more…

The exact schedule will be released nearer the time.
