Alternative Education Resource Organization Conference

June 23 - 25, 2023

A hybrid event (online and in-person in Brookville, New York US), that brings together all who are interested in learner-centered, Learner directed alternatives. This three-day international event will features, keynotes, action-oriented workshops, mini-talks, pop-up sessions, networking, and more!  An intergenerational event organized by youth and adults with an emphasis on youth.

"AERO's goal is to advance learner-directed, learner-centered approaches to education. AERO is the primary hub of communications and support for educational alternatives around the world. One of AERO's areas of expertise is democratic process and democratic education, but equally important is the networking of all forms of educational alternatives. Towards this end, AERO provides information, resources and guidance to families, schools and organizations regarding their educational choices. AERO disseminates information internationally on topics such as: homeschooling, public and private alternative schools, and charter schools."
