"Sands is a democraticsecondary school and prospective employees need to have the ability to engage with students in accordance with our ethos of equal and shared rights and responsibilities. Please have a good look at our website as well as the job description before you decide to apply."
To start in September 2022 or sooner
It is expected that the school’s administration will be undertaken by a team of two individuals with complementary skills and experience. Together these roles are expected to be equivalent to 1.5 full time roles, which could be one full-time and one part time or both part time.
Sands School is looking for two individuals with relevant and complementary experience of school administration. The administration of a very small school like ours combines a large number of roles which in a larger school would usually be held by several individuals specialising in each area. These might variously be Bursar, Business Manager, bookkeeper, Admissions Officer, Facilities Manager, Head of HR etc. At Sands these are all pooled together and delivered by the admin team with the support of the School Secretary.
Sands School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. A DBS Enhanced Disclosure is required for this post.
